Promoting Pediatric Primary Prevention (P4) Challenge: Phase 1 Winners

Kintegra Health has been selected by HRSA as one of the  Phase 1 Winners of the Promoting Pediatric Primary Prevention (P4) Challenge. MCHB (Maternal & Child Health Bureau)  received more than 240 submissions from teams across the nation, including nearly 200 cities, 44 states, and Puerto Rico. They proposed a range of innovations to increase access to and utilization of well-child visits and/or immunizations in primary care settings. Their panel of Expert Advisors and Federal Judges was incredibly impressed with the strength of the submissions.

The panel chose 50 Phase 1 Winners to receive a $10,000 cash prize and move forward to Phase 2 of the Challenge.

Kintegra was selected for the submission entitled:  Vaccine and Well Child Check Outreach Strategies

The winners represent:

    • 23 states

    • A broad array of pediatric primary care providers and partners, including:
        • Federally qualified health centers

        • Academic medical centers

        • Community-based mobile units

        • Partnerships with local churches, fire departments and other community-based organizations

In Phase 2, competitors will deploy their proposed innovations. Up to 20 of the Phase 1 winners will then win a $25,000 cash prize.
