From inception, Kintegra has worked to offer the broadest set of services to address patient needs and eliminate health status disparities. We recognize that in caring for our target population, Kintegra must also address the higher health risks that arise from low incomes, lower literacy skills, higher rates of mental illness and substance abuse, and the lack of resources for housing, good nutrition, transportation, and family support. It is not enough to provide a primary care clinic to address health needs without considering the additional need for education, prevention, and support services. Kintegra is committed to addressing these disparities.
Cervical Dysplasia is an abnormal change to the cells on the surface of the cervix, typically caused by HPV (Human papillomavirus) and is often detected by an abnormal Pap smear. If left untreated, dysplasia can become cancerous. The Kintegra Dysplasia Specialty Clinic diagnoses and manages any abnormal changes to the cervix, providing a full range of screening and treatment options, including colposcopy and LEEPs.
