Kintegra also offers medical telehealth services in Gaston County Schools, making it possible for students to be seen at school by a provider for minor illnesses suchas: allergies, asthma, coughs/colds, ear pain, fever, head lice itchy eyes, mouth pain, pink eye, poison ivy, rashes and sore throat.
The medical provider for these visits is offsite and connected to the exam with audio-visual technology. A trained clinical professional accompanies the student, and shows the provider the child’s ears, throat, and nose, allowing the provider to remotely listen to heart and lung sounds and even use a camera to show rashes or injuries.
